As our clients and partners we are proud to share some exciting news with you. The Digicall Group, a South African multi-national, have expanded their global offering by acquiring the Australasian Roadside Assistance business from International SOS.
"The International SOS Australasian automotive business is closely aligned with our existing services, so it's a logical extension of our operations" says Willem De Clercq, CEO of the Digicall Group.
For over eleven years, the Digicall Group has been the largest Incident Manager and Assistance Solutions Company in South Africa, employing more than 1,000 staff and handling over 10,000 road side assistance cases every month.
So, to align our two businesses, effective immediately, International SOS Roadside Assistance in Australia and New Zealand will be known as Digicall Assist.
Here in Australia, current Business Development Director Michael Curtin has been appointed to the new role of CEO, Digicall Assist. With over 10 years in the business, his extensive local knowledge and experience, backed by the resources of the Digicall Group, will continue to drive the high quality and flexible assistance services our clients have come to expect. Importantly, the operational team remains unchanged, allowing for a continuity of relationships and a seamless transition for clients and services. On the new direction for the business Michael had this to say:
"The Digicall Group's investment in our business will allow us to take a new focus that builds on the success of the last 10 years. We will leverage the resources of the group to develop new and innovative services for some of the best known automotive, insurance and fleet management brands in Australasia. Our new assistance centre in Milsons Point will be equipped with state of the art technology and has sufficient space for our expected growth."
We hope you're as excited as we are by this news and look forward to working with you in the near future.
